Collaboration is a Key trait
Collaborative innovation - whether through collaborative programs or corporate partnerships - is a key business driver at Transgene and our capacity to generate a number of important agreements in this domain testifies to the solidity of our scientific expertise and business model. We have a strong track record of fruitful collaboration with pharmaceutical companies, and other third party organizations, for the research and development of novel product candidates in the area of oncology and infectious diseases.
Partnerships Support Long Term Value Creation
Our principal strategy is to seek out partnership opportunities for advanced clinical product candidates that aim to treat large unmet medical needs, and which require the support of major pharmaceutical partners for phase III trials and beyond. The partnership agreement with Roche, and the oprtion agreement with Novartis are examples of our strategy applied to two of our lead product candidates TG4001/R3484 and TG4010.
Joining Forces Mantains our Expertise at the Cutting Edge
In addition to the out-licensing/in-licensing of technologies and products through corporate partnerships, Transgene aims to continue to establish collaborative programs with third party organizations that will help the company to remain at the forefront of scientific innovation in its field. Both the ADNA program and the Lyonbiopôle sponsored program fall into research areas that are proving to be extremely valuable in supporting the future development of Transgene's immunotherapy products.
